I’ve been working on x2 sets of gates for the Grow Speke community garden. They are now installed, but not quite finished! I had brightly coloured glass discs made by the brilliant Definitive 1 that will be welded to the gates over the next week or so. They glass is in 4 colours representing the […]
This year I’m going to try and collaborate with lots of different people, as collaboration could lead to new things, and a way of learning new processes. I was approached by Hex Ceramic who creates ceramic tiles at DoES Liverpool. We are currently playing around with a few drawings, and they are shaping up well. I will […]
For the past week I’ve been hiding away (from all the awful political controversy, football and shit weather) working on a swirling mural, something to help switch off. I’m enjoying working with one colour, a calming pale green. Finished pics coming soon. If your interested in a mural for your home or work place, (internal […]
Through my recent work at Oasis, I made a connection with fellow V&A enthusiast Sophie Johnson, who invited me to exhibit in her exhibition at John Lennon Art and Design Building this April. ‘From Hand-Painted Archive Prints, To Modern Day Must-Haves’ is a five-day exhibition taking place from 18 – 22 April 2016, showcasing the process of how Oasis delved […]
Got the spray paint and markers out again recently to customise a skateboard helmet. The outcome was a very happy 7 year old! I now have to customise one for an 11 year old, so will post a pic once it’s ready. Get in touch if you would like something brightening up with doodles & […]
Wrapping up orders, complete with hand drawn label & stickers.
Recently designed a poster for Oxjam Liverpool to promote a gig for singer-songwriter Lucy Rose. She performs on Thurs 16th Oct at East Village Arts Club. See the full poster. I’ll be adding a new section to my illustration page soon.
My sister Kaety currently has a beautiful piece of work on display at Cornerstone Gallery based in Hope University. Her piece is entitled ‘Wild Moon Meadow’ and is part of a group exhibition called ‘Ten’ which celebrates the Gallery’s 10th birthday, and also coincides with the Liverpool Independents Biennial. The exhibition finishes in October.
This weekend I have been painting at Mark-it, a celebration of street art in Liverpool. You can see more pics HERE. Huge thank you to Pam and everyone else who organised it. It was also nice of the sun to make an appearance, after a rather grim rainy start to the weekend.
Here is a sneak peek of a new set of drawings I’m working on at the moment. They are based on flowers & organic forms with a Summery vibe. Perfect to brighten up a wall in your home. They will begin appear in my online shop, so keep your eyes peeled.
